FOUND: More False Advertising
I recently noticed that a new misleading statement has been added to the grantLOVE Project website which is falsely advertising that every item for sale on their website will benefit artist projects, arts education or arts non-profits. Yet she still has 12 items listed on her website where there is NO PORTION IDENTIFIED AS GOING TO CHARITY.
I feel that, whenever she states "artist projects", she means herself and her personal solo art projects (separate from grantLOVE Project). That is why the word "artist" is not pluralized, as I believe she is referring to herself ONLY. As I've stated before, her non-profit LLC (grantLOVE Project) is supposed to function like a Charitable Trustee. To my understanding, she is not allowed to give herself, or personally benefit from, ANY of the profits earned through grantLOVE Project, but I suspect that is EXACTLY what she is doing. I suspect she has been doing this regularly since grantLOVE's inception in 2008.
Below are screen captures taken from her website today (January 8, 2021) and the associated links to the items in question.

What baffles me about this is her audacity in making that statement without correcting the listed items first (especially since these items have been listed this way for many months now). You would think that her first priority would be in making sure that nothing contradicted what she was saying?
It was bad enough when she made this statement in the LA Weekly article;
"My dream is for the grantLove symbol to sort of be like the Red campaign so that you know when you’re buying something with it on there you’re supporting the arts or arts education”
As it stands, she's just boldly doubling down on the false advertising... on the grantLOVE Project website no less. Or perhaps, because she is an artist and is very likely personally benefiting from the profits of these items, she does not see her statement as false?
